Sports Illustrated Albert Breer’s said that Matthew Stafford is the “Big Domino” of the quarterback year. Recently he has listed his 10 storylines to watch 2025 offseason and one of the storylines revolved around the Rams.

Breer said, “That, to be clear, doesn’t mean he’s going to be available in March. It does mean that teams are keeping an eye on what happens with Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams, in mapping out their plans…”
In the written article Breer wrote, “Two things, I think, will determine how this goes.” He added, “The first will be how much [money] he wants. The second will be whether he's willing to commit to playing for just another year.”
