Does Matthew Stafford sign the dotted line on a new contract? He is expected to be the biggest QB domino this offseason

According to the national reports,

Los Angeles Rams

and

Matthew Stafford

have signed a new contract extension. It is heard that

Stafford

will be back in Los Angeles in 2025 but uncertainty might arise.
A lot of speculation has been made about the future of the quarterback. Sources say that an agreement yet needs to take place between both sides to see what it exactly looks like.
In the past it is known that Matthew Stafford has guided the Los Angeles Rams to the postseason three times in the past four years. The 37-year-old still has two years of contract left with the Los Angeles Rams.

Sports Illustrated Albert Breer’s said that Matthew Stafford is the “Big Domino” of the quarterback year. Recently he has listed his 10 storylines to watch 2025 offseason and one of the storylines revolved around the Rams.

Breer said, “That, to be clear, doesn’t mean he’s going to be available in March. It does mean that teams are keeping an eye on what happens with Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams, in mapping out their plans…”
In the written article Breer wrote, “Two things, I think, will determine how this goes.” He added, “The first will be how much [money] he wants. The second will be whether he's willing to commit to playing for just another year.”
Let us look deep into some of the strong statements recorded by Albert Breer in describing Stafford. He mentions, “If Stafford wants a big contract adjustment, and someone is offering a first-round pick, and he is not sure if he can commit to 2026 … that’s where I could see this getting interesting.”
As the report suggests, the Rams and Stafford might get done with the deal sooner without any more delay. With the new league year starting on March 12, both ends are ready to seal the deal.
Matthew Stafford has led the Rams in back-to-back playoff appearances. Interestingly the former No.1 has picked a 93.7 quarterback rating with 3,762 passing yards and 20 touchdowns.
As the business side of football goes deep with uncertainty, teams like the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants are somehow trying to save their jobs. Keeping aside all the intriguing thoughts the Rams will be looking to keep Stafford.
