As the Dodgers try and hold on to their lead in the NL West, they will look to take on the Los Angeles Angels in a three-game series over Rivalry Weekend.

They have been battling some crucial injuries in previous weeks, but as time goes by, players are recovering, and some key players look to make their return to the field.

A couple of trending injuries that the Dodgers have been worried about are in players like Tommy Edman and Teoscar Hernandez.

News has been released that Hernandez will need a rehab stint, but Edman is nearing a return.

Dave Roberts went to the podium to answer questions on the roster and some good news came out on Tommy Edman.

After being absent since April 29 with an ankle injury, the Dodgers' multi-tool player is set to return on Sunday in the Dodgers' final game in the series against the Angels.

Edman's been on a tear this year before going down, having a batting average of .252, a .523 slugging percentage, and an .818 OPS while hitting eight home runs and 24 RBIs.

His return will bring questions to rookie second baseman Hyeseong Kim, however.

Roberts also told the press that he isn't sure what's going to happen with Hyeseong Kim once Tommy Edman returns.

"You can argue that Hyeseong [Kim] should be playing six or seven days a week... I just can't foresee, right now, what moves are going to be made in the coming days. I'm not sure yet," Roberts told the press on Friday.

It's a good problem to have when having so many players but not enough positions on the field to fill.

In time, questions will be answered – but for now, the everyday lineup remains up in the air.
