David Fincher Adds Elizabeth Debicki & Scott Caan To His Brad Pitt-Led 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood' Follow-Up Movie
The Playlist first revealed the shocking news that filmmakers and would be collaborating on a “” follow-up film forexploring the exploits of ‘s character, Cliff Booth.
There are now some substantial casting updates as The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed, backing up a previous report from What’s On Netflix posted earlier in the month, that British actress is indeed joining Pitt in the film.

In the new flick, we’ll see Fincher directing from a script penned by Tarantino, a concept that isn’t foreign to the director. He was previously behind scripts for other filmmakers with “,” “” (co-written with ), and a butchered version of “.” Given Tarantino’s desire to end his feature directorial run at ten movies, perhaps, we’ll see him focus on writing scripts for other directors (a good way to keep his legacy going).

Caan is an interesting fella as he was part of the West Coast rap community as a roadie for , then started his own rap group, . He followed his late father Jimmy Caan‘s footsteps in acting, playing a comedic role alongside Pitt in Steven Soderbergh‘s “Ocean’s” movies with other credits such as “Boiler Room,” “Gone In 60 Seconds” (precursor to the “Fast & Furious” franchise), and the Tony Scott pic “Enemy of The State.”
What’s On Netflix has also mentioned Aldis Hodge (“Cross,” “Straight Outta Compton”) is up for the role of “a former NFL football player turned actor.” However, his name hasn’t popped up in trade reports, I guess we’ll have to wait a little longer for confirmation on that one.
