Bonnie used to manage Damaris Mobile Spares shops, but later on, he started a business in the same field, which he named similarly to that of the city businesswoman.
When his former boss learnt of it, she clarified that the newly launched branches were rebranded outlets of her business.
The resemblance between the two businesses caused speculation of a fallout.
Damaris talked about it candidly and said that Bonnie would control the Githurai branch while the other would remain hers.
In her response to netizens who had cheered Bonnie’s move, she called out those who thought there had been a split.
She also used a slur on the name chosen and blasted those who attended the launch of the two shops, among them Bishop Muthee Kiengei, who officially opened it.
The two no longer see eye to eye.
"Leave other people's families alone; where are those people who danced at my shops without shame; you should have just said Damas instead of Danmas. Selling spare parts is not a walk in the park," she said.

On March 25, the Ruiru brand was reopened after it had been closed for a week and was under another name.
During the opening, they went live and showcased how the shop had been reclaimed, the phones and supplies. Girls beautifully dressed in short cheerleader outfits were on hand to take care of the clients.
There were also branded vehicles that made transport of all that was needed easy and influencers to make some online noise about it.
"The branch has been closed for a week due to unavoidable circumstances. We are back like we never left. The branch is now under the full management of Dama Mobile Spares," she said.
"Kindly note, our prices to all mobile technicians in Ruiru, will be the prices we are offering at the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD) branches," she added.
Damaris is set to open another branch in Nakuru in a week.
"Need five beautiful ladies who can do good in sales; we create job opportunities every day, empowering youths through hundreds of jobs we have offered as a company...email [email protected]," she said.
Previously, Dama received the Most Trusted and Reliable Quality Mobile Spare Dealer and Business Icon of the Year in Kenya awards.
The businesswoman was awarded at the Starbrands Awards 2024, and she attributed her success to good customer service and honesty.
While celebrating her achievements, Dama emphasised customer satisfaction as a cornerstone of good business.
