Cash Craze! Wednesday, May 27, 2026 Lotto Results Reveal All: Did YOU Win Big?

South Africa's National Lottery offers several opportunities to win substantial jackpots, with draws taking place throughout the week for games like Lotto, Lotto Plus 1, Lotto Plus 2, Daily Lotto, and Daily Lotto Plus. Participants have the chance to become multimillionaires by correctly matching the drawn numbers.

For today's draws, the estimated jackpots are: Lotto at R13 million, Lotto Plus 1 at R7 million, and Lotto Plus 2 at R9 million. The main Lotto, Lotto Plus 1, and Lotto Plus 2 draws are held every Wednesday and Saturday, broadcast live on SABC 2 at 20:56 SA time.

To play Lotto, participants select six distinct numbers between 1 and 52. For those who prefer random selections, a Quick Pick option is available. Historically, the Lotto jackpot draw initially required numbers from 1 to 49, but Ithuba Holdings increased this range to 1 to 52 on 30 July 2017. During the draw, six numbered balls are drawn without replacement from the set of 52, along with a Bonus Ball. This Bonus Ball exclusively affects players who match five main numbers. Prizes are awarded for matching at least three of the six main numbers, with prize values escalating as more numbers are matched. The jackpot is shared equally among all players who match all six drawn numbers, with the chance of doing so being 1 in 20,358,520. If no player matches all six numbers, the jackpot rolls over to the next draw. The entry fee for the Lotto draw is R5.00 per board.

Lotto Plus 1 offers a second chance to win for an additional R2.50 per board when purchasing a Lotto ticket. Introduced on 26 November 2003, it operates with the same rules and odds as the main Lotto draw, though prizes are typically slightly lower. Similarly, Lotto Plus 2 provides a third chance to win for another R2.50 per board, having been introduced on 30 July 2017. It also shares the same mechanics and odds as Lotto, with slightly lower prize values.

Today's (Wednesday) Lotto numbers were: 08, 17, 29, 35, 38, 56, with a Bonus Ball of 50. The Lotto Plus 1 numbers were: 05, 31, 46, 47, 55, 58, with a Bonus Ball of 03. For Lotto Plus 2, the numbers drawn were: 03, 08, 11, 17, 33, 50, with a Bonus Ball of 51.

Beyond the main Lotto games, the Daily Lotto and Daily Lotto Plus offer daily opportunities. The Daily Lotto jackpot is guaranteed at R400,000, while the new Daily Lotto Plus jackpot stands at R100,000. Uniquely, the Daily Lotto prize money is guaranteed to be awarded even if no player matches all five numbers. Daily Lotto draws take place every day of the week, Monday to Sunday, around 21:00 SA time.

For Wednesday, 27 May 2026, the Daily Lotto numbers drawn were: 04, 10, 15, 22, 32. The Daily Lotto Plus numbers for the same date were: 04, 08, 11, 17, 25.

Tickets for all National Lottery games can be purchased conveniently at participating retailers, online via the national lottery.co.za website (accessible on computer or mobile), through the National Lottery Mobile App, or via participating banks including FNB, ABSA, Nedbank, Standard Bank, Capitec, TymeBank, and African Bank. It is important for players to note that lottery ticket sales close at 20:30 on the day of a draw. All players must be 18 years old or older to be eligible to participate.

Winning comes with additional benefits: winners of R50,000 and above receive complimentary trauma counselling from professional psychologists and financial advice from accredited financial advisors. All winnings are paid tax-free directly into the winner’s accounts.

A comprehensive summary of all lottery games by draw day includes: Daily Lotto every day; PowerBall and PowerBall Plus on Tuesdays and Fridays; and Lotto, Lotto Plus 1, and Lotto Plus 2 on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Looking ahead, a final R223-million PowerBall and PowerBall Plus draw is scheduled for Friday, 29 May 2026.

For verification, players should always confirm the official winning numbers on the National Lottery website, as it is the definitive source for results.
