Their love story goes back to their early days in Haryana, even before either of them joined the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), where Jyoti was his junior. Despite their public profiles, their relationship has remained largely out of the public gaze. Recently, Jaideep shared a rare anecdote from his personal life while appearing on The Great Indian Kapil Show alongside actors Vijay Varma, Jitendra Kumar, and Pratik Gandhi.During the show, host Kapil Sharma asked Jaideep how he proposed to his wife and whether she thought it was sincere or just a performance. Responding with his trademark humor, Jaideep hinted that as someone from a Jaat background, he lacked the poetic skills for a traditional proposal. Vijay Varma playfully chimed in with a humorous suggestion involving a container of ghee. Jaideep joined in the laughter, joking that he promised Jyoti a future full of milk and ghee, and left the decision up to her.

“Do you think a Jaat boy like me would know the art of proposing?” he quipped. Later, he added, "I told her, ‘There won’t be any shortage of milk and ghee in the house. Now the choice is yours."

During a 2021 conversation with The Times of India, Jaideep Ahlawat reflected on the often unseen sacrifices made by the spouses of actors. He acknowledged that while these partners rarely receive public recognition, their unwavering support plays a vital role in an actor’s life. Speaking candidly, he emphasized how challenging it can be to share a life with someone in the film industry, given the emotional highs and lows, unpredictable schedules, and constant pressure. Jaideep expressed deep respect for those who stand by actors through thick and thin, praising their remarkable patience and resilience.

He went on to speak about his own relationship, sharing that despite the ups and downs of his professional journey, he has always tried to uphold his responsibilities as a husband. Jaideep mentioned that his wife, Jyoti, has shown extraordinary understanding and calm throughout his evolving career. Because of the strength and loyalty she’s displayed over the years, he has made sure never to let her down in their personal life.

"No one knows better than a spouse when an actor is disturbed, worried because of prep or any other thing that happened on the set. It takes a lot to live with that. I don't think I have ever let Jyoti down as a husband, I've always tried to give it my all," he told TOI. As per a Bollywood Shaadis report, Jyoti is a professional dancer. After years of perseverance and dedication, Jaideep’s hard work in the film industry has finally borne fruit. He started with a minor role in the 2010 movie Aakrosh, but it was Amazon Prime’s Paatal Lok in 2020 that brought him widespread acclaim. Since then, his filmography has expanded to include popular titles such as Jaane Jaan, Maharaj, and Jewel Thief. His rising popularity and success have also translated into personal milestones. Jaideep recently purchased two high-end flats worth ₹20 crore in a luxury complex in Andheri West, Mumbai, known as Poorna Apartments.In his most recent work, Jaideep was featured in the crime thriller Jewel Thief, sharing screen space with Saif Ali Khan. The film added another notable performance to his growing list of achievements.Meanwhile, host Kapil Sharma has found himself in the news for reasons unrelated to entertainment. After a shooting incident outside his café in Canada, his personal safety has become a concern. Mumbai police have increased his security detail, visiting his home to assess the situation. It remains uncertain whether the comedian will continue filming his ongoing Netflix program, with updates awaited on future plans.
