The series between the third seed LA Lakers and the sixth seed Minnesota Timberwolves has been one of the hardest to call.
It could still swing either way, but after Game 3, it is the Timberwolves who have the advantage, following 116-104 victory, and they hold home advantage for Game 4 too.
The Timberwolves victory swun on big performances from Jaden McDaniels (30 points) and Anthony Edwards (29 points).
And it was young superstar Anthony Edwards who received a lot of the acclaim following the pivotal win.

Former LA Lakers player and coach Byron Scott had positive words to say about Anthony Edwards’ performance in Game 3.
Scott was impressed with the way he was able to crack the Lakers defense, and come up big at the most important moments in the game.
Speaking to the Lakers’ post-game show on Spectrum, Scott explained: “I thought in the fourth quarter especially, when the game was on the line, Ant Edwards was at his best.
“When the Lakers tried to double team him on the three point line and further out, he was able to break to containment, get to the basket or find other guys, that’s the sign of a great basketball player that’s determined to make sure that they wasn’t going to lose this game.
“You got to give him a lot of credit, you got to go back to the drawing board if your the Lakers on how you going to defend this guy especially when the game is on the line.
“He was spectacular tonight”.
While Lakers legend Michael Cooper is predicting the team go all the way to the finals, his former teammate James Worthy was left to rue on the team’s costly turnovers in the loss.
And he was also full of praise for Anthony Edwards’ 29-8-8 performance, admitting he was the difference maker.
Worthy said: “Ant Edwards is a young kid that is learning the game really fast… he’s a tough one to deal with.
“I thought in Game 2 they did a good job of containing him, not bad tonight early on, but he got loose in the second, third, fourth quarter, and really took over the game in the last five minutes.”
Edwards has been revelling in the fact the Timberwolves are the underdogs, and he is keen to shine when the lights are at their brightest. And once again, he showed he can deliver.
