Burning building and damage near downtown after Lviv attack | RBC-Ukraine

As a result of the overnight Russian attack on Lviv on July 12, fires broke out, according to Mayor Andrii Sadovyi.

“In the Zaliznychnyi district, the roof of a non-residential building is on fire, covering an area of 200 square meters,” Sadovyi reported.

He also stated that there is information about damage to a residential building in the area of Myropolyt Andria Street.

“The air attack on our city is ongoing,” Mayor Sadovyi warned.

Local public channels are reporting repeated explosions in Lviv.

Russia launched Shahed drones and missiles targeting western regions of Ukraine.

Initial reports of explosions came from Kropyvnytskyi and Cherkasy. Later, air defense activity was confirmed in Kyiv, Chernivtsi, and Lutsk. For more details, read the article by RBC-Ukraine.

It was also loud in Lutsk and the Volyn region, where intense drone activity was recorded. Air defenses were actively engaged in Lviv as well.

Lviv Regional Military Administration head Maksym Kozytskyi earlier reported that around ten enemy Shahed drones were in the area.
