Burna Boy's 'No Sign of Weakness' Tour Hits Snag: Minneapolis and Chicago Gigs Canceled

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy has unexpectedly cancelled two stops on his ongoing No Sign of Weakness North American tour. The affected shows, scheduled for Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Chicago, Illinois, were officially marked as cancelled on Ticketmaster on Thursday, 27 November 2025.
The Minneapolis concert, originally slated for Friday, 28 November, at The Armory, and the Chicago performance, set for Monday, 1 December, were both removed from ticketing platforms without prior announcement or explanation from Burna Boy or his management. As of now, no statements have been released on the artist’s official social media channels, nor have the respective venues provided clarification regarding the cancellations.
Ticketmaster lists both events as cancelled, and affected ticket holders are expected to receive refunds. The sudden cancellations have surprised many fans, particularly as Burna Boy’s recent online activity had been solely focused on promoting the tour and building anticipation for these dates.
Despite the cancellations, the remaining North American tour dates remain active across ticketing platforms and venue websites. Scheduled stops include Boston, Washington D.C., Montreal, and Toronto, with no indications of further adjustments. Fans in these cities have expressed calls for greater clarity and communication from the singer’s team. The next scheduled stop on the tour is Wednesday, 3 December, in Boston.
