Bubbies and wildbrine Release New Fermented Products

Bubbies Fine Foods and wildbrine, both owned by Fermented Food Holdings, Inc. (FFH), have launched new products at select Whole Foods Market locations nationwide. FFH is a leading U.S. producer of high-quality, fermented, functional foods. Bubbies introduced Kosher Dill Pickle Chips, available in original and spicy versions, representing one of the world’s only fermented pickle chips in mass retail.

Wildbrine debuted Mild White Kimchi, Pickled Red Onions, and Banh Mi Medley, expanding the range of Bubbies and wildbrine products available at Whole Foods Market stores nationwide. These already include Bubbies’ Sauerkraut and Horseradish, and wildbrine’s Korean-Style Kimchi and Organic Dill & Garlic Sauerkraut.

According to FFH CEO Jorge Azevedo, consumers are increasingly seeking fermented, minimally processed, and functional foods to support health-conscious lifestyles, with 15% of Americans incorporating fermented foods into their diets. Fermented Food Holdings aims to drive incremental sales and lead the adoption of both new and traditional fermented foods as a category leader for fermented and pickled foods in the natural channel.

Bubbies, with over 40 years of experience, holds top positions as the most popular pickle, relish, and refrigerated condiment brand. The Kosher Dill Pickle Chips are the result of extensive research and proprietary development, marking a significant milestone in fermented foods because a fully fermented pickle chip is difficult to execute on a national scale. Bubbies recognized the market gap and introduced this innovation.

Bubbies’ traditional Kosher Dill Pickle recipe remains unchanged. The Spicy and Original Kosher Dill Pickle Chips are certified-kosher, non-GMO Project Verified, gluten-free, preservative-free, and contain no added sugar. Research indicated that consumers often cut up whole kosher dill pickles for meals and snacks.

Wildbrine offers culinary-inspired fermented and pickled vegetables through the power of fermentation, including sauerkrauts, kimchis, and condiments. Wildbrine’s Mild White Kimchi features fermented Napa cabbage with pear, Daikon radish, carrot, and bell peppers. The Banh Mi Medley is a mix of pickled veggies, cilantro, mint, ponzu, and lime, while the Pickled Red Onions include jalapeños.

Fermented Food Holdings, Inc. (FFH), based in Madison, Wisconsin, produces fermented, functional, and high-quality foods that support a healthy lifestyle. FFH’s brand portfolio includes Bubbies, wildbrine, Flanagan Farm, Silver Floss, Saverne, Hawthorne Foods, and Cortland Valley.
