Brenda Kay Morgan, age 65, passed away on May 31, 2025 after years of battling chronic health issues. She leaves behind her husband, Chauncy, of 44 years and her adult children, Adam, Michael (Mindy), and Nicole (Joel) Parker. She also leaves behind the biggest delights of her life – her four grandchildren: Everett, Mia, Natalie, & Brielle. Her parents, Shirley (Welch) Galloway and Ray Telfor preceded her in death years before. She has six surviving siblings: Brian, Rick, Randy, Diane, Doug, & Stacey.
Brenda surrendered her life and committed it to Christ and God’s will in February 1985. She was then very active in church when physically able. She taught both children’s & adult Sunday School, participated in mission activities, and managed the resource room at Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church in the 90’s.
She was kind & thoughtful, best known for writing notes of encouragement or surprising others with gifts that were both personal and intentional.
Some of her favorite things to do were to travel the United States with Chauncy and join her granddaughters dressing up in fancy dresses and hats for elaborate tea parties.
Services will be held at Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church at 1183 HWY 92S, Fayetteville, GA on Thursday, June 12 at 3 pm eastern. The family will begin receiving visitors at 2:15 pm. Brenda’s request was that people dress casually or as they are comfortable and that the service would truly be a celebration of life and heaven.
