He reminisced about growing up captivated by Suri’s film music, specifically citing “Aashiqui 2” as a seminal influence that shaped his cinematic aspirations. Ahaan conveyed profound gratitude to Suri for his unwavering belief, for transforming his childhood dreams into on-screen reality, and for guiding him towards his destiny, concluding his heartfelt note with the words “aaj, kal aur forever, bas tum hi ho.”

Beyond his heartfelt tribute to Mohit Suri, Ahaan extended his appreciation to the entire team behind “Saiyaara,” acknowledging their indispensable roles in his journey. He specifically thanked Vik for his vision, Sumana for her persistence, Akshaye Widhani for taking a bold leap of faith as a producer, Sankalp for crafting a magical script, Aditya Chopra (Adi sir) for his unwavering belief even in the face of doubt, and Shanoo for consistently shaping him and providing steadfast, soul-deep support as a guiding light.

“Saiyaara” has already generated significant excitement within Bollywood and trade circles, demonstrating an impressive pre-release performance. The film achieved a remarkable feat by selling 1.95 lakh tickets in pre-sales at leading multiplex chains nationwide, thereby securing its position as the second-highest opener of 2025, trailing only the historical drama “Chhaava” (2.23 lakh tickets). This robust showing allowed “Saiyaara” to surpass other highly anticipated big-budget films, including Salman Khan’s “Sikandar,” Akshay Kumar’s “Housefull 5,” and Ajay Devgn’s “Raid 2,” signaling a massive craze among young movie lovers eager to experience this intense romantic drama. Alia Bhatt has joined the growing chorus of celebrities who have lauded Mohit Suri’s latest release, “Saiyaara.” Taking to her Instagram on a Saturday, the acclaimed actor penned a heartfelt note after watching the film, showering praise upon the lead performances by newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. Sharing a candid behind-the-scenes still from the sets of “Saiyaara,” which depicted director Mohit Suri in conversation with the lead pair, Alia enthusiastically wrote, “It’s safe to say… two beautiful, magical STARS are born @aneetpadda_ @ahaanpandayy — I don’t remember the last time I looked at two actors with such awe. With stars in my eyes… watching the stars in yours. You both shine with such individuality, such honesty, I could watch you again, and again, and again. (And let’s be honest… I probably will.)”
Continuing her heartfelt message, Alia underscored the profound emotional impact the film had on her. “Saiyaara is full of heart, full of soul, full of something that just stays with you… in the best way.” The “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” actress also commended director Mohit Suri for his exceptional storytelling and musical choices. “To the captain of this very wonderful ship @mohitsuri — what a film.
