Big Brother Naija S10 Grand Finale: Stars, Fashion & Fierce Competition Unfold

The highly anticipated grand finale of Big Brother Naija Season 10/10 captivated millions of viewers across Africa on Sunday night, bringing to a close a dramatic 10-week journey that commenced with its first launch on Sunday, July 26, and a second launch on July 27, 2025. The season kicked off with 29 diverse housemates vying for the ultimate prize, which included a staggering ₦150 million, an SUV car, and other valuable prizes, marking the biggest prize package in the show’s history.

Throughout the intense competition, housemates navigated weekly tasks, live eviction shows, unexpected twists, and profound emotional moments in their quest for fame and fortune. The season was not without its anomalies; one housemate, Sabrina, voluntarily exited the show midway through, while Faith was disqualified in the 10th week for violating Big Brother’s stringent rules. This left nine finalists to compete for the coveted title.

The grand finale itself was a spectacular event, highlighted by an electrifying performance from award-winning Afrobeats singer, Adekunle Gold, who serenaded both the live audience and viewers with his latest songs. Following Adekunle Gold's performance, Big Brother, affectionately known as Biggie, offered heartfelt commendations to the last standing nine housemates. In his characteristic baritone voice, Biggie lauded them as icons of the Big Brother Naija family, celebrating each of their unique journeys throughout their 10 weeks in the House.

The finalists, dressed impeccably, were visibly elated by Biggie's praises as the suspense built towards the announcement of the winner. The final nine housemates included Imisi, Koyin, Sultana, Dede, Isabella, KayBobo, Kola, Mensah, and Jayson Jae. Observers noted that Imisi had a strong approval rating outside the house, positioning her as a good contender for the top prize, though surprises are common in the reality show format, with Sultana and others also presenting strong challenges.

The finale was expertly hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, whose presence on stage is always a highlight. For his first look of the night, Ebuka paid homage to the legendary Afro-Juju musician Sir Shina Peters, channeling the artist's iconic style and sound. His outfit featured a bold black structured blazer adorned with striking red and white gingham panels across the chest and shoulders, paired with high-waisted, wide-leg black trousers cinched by a red leather belt. A simple black crew-neck shirt provided balance, while vibrant red loafers and oversized brown-tinted sunglasses completed the flamboyant yet confident ensemble, celebrating a golden era of Nigerian pop culture. As the show reached its climax, anticipation mounted for Ebuka to announce the winner who would see their life transformed by the N150 million star prize and other rewards.
