Bengals shock with decision to pass on huge name in NFL mock draft - Yahoo Sports
But what if Jeanty went on an unexpected tumble out of the top 10 and the Bengals had a shot at him?

Ian Valentino of The 33rd Team recently had this scenario come up in his latest mock draft and he had the Bengals pass on Jeanty at No. 17, instead opting for Texas offensive lineman Kelvin Banks:
"The team could stand to upgrade multiple interior blocker spots in this class. Kelvin Banks was a tackle at Texas but profiles as an excellent guard candidate as he develops his hand placement and consistency. His movement traits and raw power are fantastic."
Some fans will love this development. In this scenario, Jeanty falls to No. 20 and the Denver Broncos and the Bengals finally upgrade the line in front of Joe Burrow, meaning they won't be only relying on Cody Ford and Lucas Patrick as possible starting guards.
Others, though, will hate it. Jeanty, a Heisman finalist, just had 2,601 rushing yards on a 7.0 per-carry average with 29 touchdowns and is a can't-miss prospect who can also pass block and be effective as a receiver. The Bengals already have Chase Brown, but it's hard to ignore what Jeanty might do in a Burrow-based offense.

In fact, the Bengals love to stick to their board and that far down the order, Jeanty might be their No. 1 prospect remaining. They pass here, and perhaps would during the actual draft, too, but it would be pretty entertaining to see the scenario unfold.
