House of Talents Kortrijk Spurs (Pro Basketball League) signed 25-year-old American 183cm point guard Diego Bernard (college: Northwest Missouri State) for the upcoming season. He joins fellow American player Jay Pal on the team. Bernard last played for Sudbury Five in the Canadian BSL league, where he averaged 11.2ppg, 3.8rpg, 4.0apg, and 1.4spg in 36 games last season. He was part of the BSL championship-winning team in 2025.
During the summer of 2024, he played for Diablos Rojos del Mexico in the LNBP, a Mexican league.
He has played professionally in Mexico and the NBA G League (Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico) as well.
Bernard received the All-MIAA Player of the Year award in 2023.
He graduated from Northwest Missouri State in 2023 and it'll be his third season in pro basketball. Bernard won BSL championship title in 2025.
