Actress Doris Ogala has publicly severed ties with her former best friend, Tonto Dikeh, mere days after issuing a public apology to her. In a now-deleted Instagram post, Doris adamantly stated her desire to no longer be associated with Tonto, clarifying that their friendship was never as profound as it appeared to the public. She emphasized their distinct differences and infrequent meetings, typically only when Doris visited Abuja. Doris unequivocally disassociated herself, promising to narrate the true nature of their friendship with evidence and urging the public not to link her with what she termed a “nonsense girl.” She asserted her integrity, contrasting it with Tonto, whom she described as “shameless” and “disgusting.”

Further escalating the rift, Doris made another post labeling Tonto Dikeh as “the most heartless person” she had ever encountered, expressing deep regret over their association and invoking divine intervention. Doris clarified that her recent apology was not an admission of wrongdoing but a necessary step to clarify certain matters.

This is not the first instance of public conflict between the two actresses. In January, Doris publicly accused Tonto on Instagram of orchestrating online bullying against her. She also vehemently refuted claims that Tonto had gifted her a Bentley, stating that she was not easily bought or silenced. Following this incident, in June, Doris made a public apology to Tonto Dikeh, along with Angela Okorie and Emeka Rollas. In that apology, she attributed her previous actions and statements to trauma, citing personal challenges such as the passing of her brother and a recent surgery. She acknowledged that she might have overreacted and expected too much from them, expressing sincere regret.

Despite this earlier reconciliation and apology, the deep-seated discord between Doris and Tonto has clearly resurfaced and intensified. Doris’s latest pronouncements underscore her firm decision to maintain no connection with the actress.
