Doris Ogala disassociates self from Tonto Dikeh days after public apology

Actress Doris Ogala has disassociated herself from her former best friend Tonto Dikeh, days after making a public apology to the latter.

In a now-deleted Instagram post on Wednesday, Doris made it clear she no longer wanted to be linked with Tonto, insisting their friendship was never as deep as many believed.

“Please, please, I beg you people in the name of God.
This woman called Tonto and I are actually not friends as it seemed on social media.
We are two different people.
We hardly see each other, only when I visit Abuja.

“Please, please, I disassociate myself completely with her.
In fact, I’ll narrate the kind of friendship we shared with evidence.
I beg you people in the name of God, don’t associate me with this nonsense girl.

“Ahhh, please, I’m only stubborn, but I have my integrity intact. Please, please, we were never that sugar and butter like you people thought.
Abeg, I don’t want to be associated with a shameless, disgusting human being.
In fact, I’ll come live to share more light on this.”

In another post, she described the actress as “the most heartless person” she had ever come across.

“I apologised to my friends not because I was wrong but because I needed to clear up some things.
Hey Tonto, you’re the most heartless person I’ve ever seen.
I regret ever associating with you.
God goodness me.”

This is not the first time the two actresses have clashed publicly.

In January, Doris called out Tonto on Instagram for allegedly recruiting people to bully her online and refuted claims that the actress bought her a Bentley.

She stated that she was not the “regular girl” who could be bought or silenced with such a gesture.

Following the January drama, Doris made peace with Tonto and others in a public apology shared in June.

She apologised to Tonto, Angela Okorie and Emeka Rollas, saying they were her friends and that her earlier actions were influenced by trauma.

“I want to sincerely apologise to my friends that my write‑ups or videos indirectly or directly affected Emeka Rollas, Angela Okorie, Tonto Dikeh… They hurt me in one way, but I believe I overreacted. I was really traumatised, had a lot going on with me the passing of my brother, my surgery, etc. Maybe I expected too much from them… From my heart of hearts, I am truly sorry,” she wrote.

She added, “I apologised to my friends not because I was wrong but because I needed to clear up some things.”

Despite that apology, the rift between Doris and Tonto appears to have deepened, with Doris now insisting she wants nothing to do with the actress.

Tonto Dikeh has not publicly responded to the latest fallout as of the time of this report.
