Sportinvest Trapani Sharks (Serie A) inked 25-year old American 198cm forward Timmy Allen (college: Texas) for upcoming season. Allen played most recently at Filou Oostende in Belgian Pro Basketball League. He managed to play in three leagues last year (!!!). The team played in three different competitions that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 11 Pro Basketball League games he was league's second best scorer with impressive 21.0ppg and recorded 4.5rpg and 2.8apg. Allen helped them to win the league title and the cup. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Belgian Pro Basketball League Finals MVP and Forward of the Year. He also played 34 games in BNXT League where he averaged remarkable 20.2ppg, 4.2rpg, 1.9apg and 1.4spg. It was a very successful season in his career as he was awarded Eurobasket.com BNXT League Import Player of the Year, Eurobasket.com BNXT League Player of the Year and Forward of the Year. And finally he contributed to 9 games in Basketball Champions League where he had high stats: 16.0ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.4apg and 1.1spg.
Allen ended the previous (2023-24) season at the Grizzlies in NBA. In 5 games he got just 2.6ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.0apg in that year. But the most of that year he spent at Hustle in U.S. NBA-G-League. In 46 games he got 9.5ppg, 4.0rpg and 2.5apg in that year.
He graduated from University of Texas in 2023 and it will be his third season in pro basketball. Allen played also for University of Utah for 3 years.
