BCD Travel has announced a strategic partnership with SkyLink to introduce an AI-powered assistant that supports corporate travel bookings and itinerary management. The technology is designed to offer a fully autonomous, conversational experience across platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Slack.
With this new solution, business travellers, travel arrangers and agents will be able to access bookings, make modifications, and get real-time answers to travel-related queries round the clock. The integration aims to streamline workflows, improve travel programme compliance, and reduce operational costs.
“We are addressing traveller demand for efficiency and speed, while also driving cost savings and compliance for customers,” said Yannis Karmis, senior vice president of Product Planning & Development at BCD Travel. “SkyLink’s integration with our open platform creates a market leading engagement capability with travellers. Our partnership reinforces BCD’s commitment to offering flexible, innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers’ programmes.”
SkyLink's AI platform plugs into BCD’s wider Travel Commerce Platform, creating a connected, policy-compliant booking ecosystem that is fully supported by human agents when needed. The technology enables standardised booking workflows while offering greater flexibility and scalability for enterprise travel managers.
Atyab Bhatti, cofounder and CEO at SkyLink, said the collaboration helps bring best-in-class technology to the global corporate travel sector. “We’re proud to partner with BCD Travel, a global leader in digital travel technology and service. By integrating BCD’s capabilities, we can seamlessly deploy into global travel programmes. Together, we’re redefining the corporate traveller experience through modernisation and collaboration,” Bhatti added.
The move is part of a broader trend in the business travel industry where automation, AI, and touchless solutions are becoming core to managing modern enterprise travel needs efficiently and securely.
