Defending champion FC Bayern Muenchen Basketball (BBL) added to their roster 27-year old American guard Justinian Jessup (201cm-92kg-1998, college: Boise State) for new 2025-26 season. Jessup played last season at Ratiopharm Ulm in the BBL. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 44 BBL games he recorded 11.7ppg, 3.6rpg, 2.4apg and 1.3spg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. Quite impressive year as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-German League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (2 times). Jessup also played 18 games in Eurocup where he averaged 13.0ppg, 4.2rpg, 3.4apg and 1.3spg.
In 2020 he was drafted by Golden State Warriors (NBA) in second round (51st overall). He graduated from Boise State and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
Jessup is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in four different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Australia and of course North America. Jessup has played previously professionally in Australia (Hawks and Breakers), Spain (Zaragoza), NBA Summer League (GS Warriors) and The Basketball Tournament (Once A Bronco). He was selected to Northern League Athlete of the Year back in 2015 and 2016.
