Holiday observances vary by state, and customers can check the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) website or their banks for detailed holiday lists.

In addition to these holidays, banks in India are routinely closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, as well as all Sundays. Customers are encouraged to use alternative banking services like mobile apps, internet banking, and ATMs during these closures.
