Bellingham will be hoping that the Black Cats are able to maintain their good form this season, as Sunderland challenge for promotion to the Premier League.
The North Eastern side currently sit fourth on 62 points, just five points behind second-placed Sheffield United.
Bellingham looks set to be playing top-flight football, with or without Sunderland next season.
A move to Dortmund would make sense, given his brother’s ties to the club, but Jobe has seemed intent on carving out his own path.
Arsenal may become suitors for the former Birmingham midfielder this summer, as Bellingham would provide an attacking alternative to the more defensive midfielders available to Mikel Arteta, especially with Thomas Partey expected to leave.
The young midfielder may choose to stay with Sunderland if they can make it back to the Premier League this season.
