Arsenal Legend Divorced After Chainsaw Attack

Jens Lehmann's 25-year marriage to Conny has ended in divorce, as confirmed by Conny herself. The couple had been living separately since 2022 when Conny moved out of their villa in Starnberg. They initially met in 1995 and officially married in October 1999, sharing two children, Mats (24) and Lieselotta (18).
Conny Lehmann, 52, told Bild that she is now single and open to new relationships. The villa in Starnberg, their former residence, has been listed for sale by a Munich real estate agent for €12.9 million (£10.9 million).
In addition to the divorce, Jens Lehmann has faced legal troubles. In the summer of 2022, he was accused of damaging his neighbor’s newly built garage roof beams using a chainsaw. Initially fined £112,500 after being found guilty of property damage and attempting to mislead a German court, Lehmann later received a suspended prison sentence and a higher fine of over £350,000 following a successful appeal. Criminal charges were eventually dropped after an out-of-court settlement with his neighbor, reportedly worth more than £50,000.
Lehmann also faced legal consequences after the 2024 Oktoberfest celebrations, where he was fined £60,000 for drink-driving. He failed a breathalyzer test and reportedly vomited twice during the incident. He was pulled over by police around 1:30 a.m. while wearing traditional lederhosen and was seen with several young women. Lehmann has appealed the fine, and his driver’s license has been confiscated. A trial is scheduled for Thursday, April 3.
In other news, Jens Lehmann expressed confidence that Arsenal would keep a clean sheet in their UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain on May 7. He predicted that Arsenal would score two goals, similar to their quarter-final victory over Real Madrid. Lehmann praised Mikel Arteta for stabilizing the squad, noting their consecutive second-place finishes in the English Premier League.
