APC Group Predicts Tinubu's 2027 Landslide in South East

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, a dedicated support group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), has confidently declared that President Bola Tinubu is set to secure a landslide victory in the 2027 presidential election. In a joint statement released on Monday by its South East coordinators, the group asserted that President Tinubu’s escalating popularity, bolstered by what they termed the “economy-revamping and nation-rebuilding effects” of his administration’s policies, would guarantee him overwhelming support across the nation, with a particular emphasis on the South East.
The coordinators representing various South East states — Chief Henry Ikoh (Abia), Chief Okey Ezenwa (Anambra), Barr. Kelechi Igwe (Ebonyi), Barr. George Ogara (Enugu), and Rt. Hon. Opiah Goodluck (Imo) — collectively assured the President of substantial votes from their zone in 2027. They highlighted President Tinubu’s upcoming visit to Imo State on Tuesday, which is part of the activities commemorating the APC’s 10th anniversary in office. This visit, they noted, would offer a prime opportunity for him to “feel the famed warmth of the South East and witness the massive support of the people of the zone.”
During his visit to Owerri, the President is scheduled to be hosted by Governor Hope Uzodinma, who also serves as the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and a key leader of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors. It is anticipated that President Tinubu will commission several landmark projects executed by the Imo State governor. The group affectionately referred to President Tinubu as “the father of our nation and the transformer of our era,” conveying the South East’s profound excitement to welcome the President and its eagerness to demonstrate unwavering loyalty to his administration.
The statement further underscored the importance of this visit to the South East Zone, characterizing it as a significant event marking the historic anniversary and celebration of a decade of the APC’s impactful governance, particularly highlighting the achievements during President Tinubu’s two years in office. The Renewed Hope Ambassadors commended the President’s economic policies, asserting that they are inspiring positive action among Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora. Additionally, they praised Governor Uzodinma for his pivotal role in championing the Renewed Hope Agenda across the zone.
Reiterating their commitment, the group assured President Tinubu of “unflinching support” in the 2027 polls. They articulated the South East’s aspiration to “vote massively for President Tinubu in 2027 to sit at the front of the table in the equitable distribution of resources and infrastructure.” Concluding their statement, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors reaffirmed to Mr. President the deep love, loyalty, and support of the overwhelming majority of leaders and people in the South East and across Nigeria for the 2027 presidential election. They also indicated plans to mobilize their campaign machinery under Governor Uzodinma’s leadership to ensure President Tinubu achieves a sweeping victory not only in the South East but across the entire federation.
