CELINE has opened the doors to its swanky new pad, located on the main level of ION Orchard and already, it’s giving us major #DecorInspo. Stepping into the space is like walking into someone’s home—albeit a very futuristic, painfully chic home—thanks to the way that the store invites you to meander around the displays. Set amidst the basaltina and marble stone surfaces, you’ll find the mens’ and women’s ready-to-wear collection, including its range of easy separates, slinky evening dresses and covetable accessories.

There’s also a specially-designed counter for you to experience the buzzy CELINE Beaute line in person. Look out for a worldwide-exclusive purse in cream-tone cut from Nile crocodile skin that can only be purchased from the store (and nowhere else). If ever you needed a new excuse for a new bag, use this: you’d be one of the few women in the entire universe who would have this bag.

The Chinese New Year celebrations are often a time of conviviality and a reunion of families, and it’s in this thread of thought that Gucci’s festive campaign is built upon. Envisioned as a fleeting moment between two celebrating families, the campaign sees House ambassadors Ni Ni and Xiao Zhan decked out in slithering dresses and sharply-tailored suits as they come together to celebrate familial connections. Serpent motifs are interpreted through the capsule collection in the form of densely-embroidered sequins on jackets and minidresses, illustrated snakes on silk square scarves and embroidered on sneakers that bear Gucci’s iconic GG monogram.

If there’s one thing Tory Burch knows how to do, it’s outfit the modern woman. After all, this is the ethos that the American designer has built her brand on for over two decades. In her Chinese New Year collection, she demonstrates this same commitment to contemporary and chic design. Easy separates are the order of the day: think breezy dresses, sporty tank tops and trousers that move freely with you. To complete the look, accessories like chunky sneakers or a handbag with a faux snakeskin clasp do the trick.

If you’re on the hunt for new dinnerware, you may want to add Dior to your places to shop at. Launching on 7 February, the new Les Gris-Gris De Monsieur Dior collection joins the House’s line of homeware as a permanent fixture. The collection offers four main focuses—dinner plates, side plates, dessert plates and mugs—and four main motifs that are significant to the late founder of the House show up in the collection: the clover, the bee, roses and the star. Dinnertime is about to get even more stylish.

To usher in the Year of the Snake, Burberry gives its signature check pattern a festive red makeover. Across a capsule collection designed by Daniel Lee, the wardrobe features Lee’s penchant for minimalist lines with classic midi-length dresses, sharp shirting and plush knits. There are also plenty of options for cooler climes: think puffer jackets, scarfs and so on. Plus, key to Burberry is giving a platform to artists and for the campaign, the English brand teamed up with Chinese artist Qian Lihuai to create impressively large-scale woven sculptures as his own take on Burberry’s check.

Prada lovers, rejoice! The brand’s new boutique at ION Orchard has been unveiled, and fans will recognise how it nods to Prada’s storied heritage and history. The curved glass façade features the iconic Prada triangle pattern while inside, you’ll find signature elements such as the black and white chequered marble floor, inspired by Prada’s original boutique in Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
The boutique houses the ready-to-wear, leather goods, footwear, accessories, and Prada Eternal Gold fine jewellery collections, all under one roof; as well as the newly opened Prada Caffe. Serving cakes, crostones and Italian-style coffee (and tea), Prada Caffè is currently open by appointment only.

Easily one of the hottest brands in fashion right now, Chloé’s got you all sorted out for the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations at the end of January with its capsule drop of snake-themed pieces. Silhouettes here largely reference classic separates—think breezy tees, sporty bomber jackets and clingy knits—and all of them work in the snake motif in a sexy, stylish way. The brand’s Bracelet hobo bag gets a chili-red update, and look out for the introduction of its newest sneaker style: the Kick, which comes in classic white leather and draws its inspiration from boxing shoes.

The much-anticipated Louis Vuitton collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami returns, and to showcase this, Louis Vuitton is set to launch an experiential pop-up in the heart of Joo Chiat. From 4 to 19 January, the shophouse at 72 Joo Chiat Place will welcome visitors with a façade decorated with Murakami’s iconic smiley flowers. The four main zones in the space will span a retail section, cinema, cafe and a care station with an aim of creating a seamless shopping experience as you go from browsing the collection to stopping for a mid-shopping refuel. This pop-up store will be the only one in Southeast Asia, and joins six other cities in hosting shoppers within a specially-constructed space to celebrate the re-edition collection.

As a House synonymous with craft, it only makes sense that Bottega Veneta would work with small-scale artisans in a bid to showcase and highlight their time-honed skills to a global audience. In its fourth release, the “Bottega for Bottegas” showcase has picked six artisans from within or around Venice to be featured. Each item that the artists contributed speaks to the history and culture of Venice: there are adorable wooden block puzzles of Venetian buildings by Signor Blum, Murano glass creations by Laguna~B and a brass winged lion—the symbol of Venice itself—from the workshops of Fonderia Artistica Valese.

Remember the Olympics in July, where the world first met South Korean professional shooter Kim Ye Ji? Well, Kim’s going to add a new job title to her resume: she’s now a Balenciaga model as well. Lensed by Juergen Teller, the campaign—wryly titled “This is a Balenciaga Campaign”—features Kim alongside a series of other friends of the House in Paris. Joined by the likes of Romeo Beckham, Kim Petras and more, the collection of images highlight Balenciaga’s streetwear leanings and its line of leather handbags, all set against chairs strewn in the streets of Paris. It’s tongue-in-cheek humour meets fashion, which is so Balenciaga.
