Lohli, an emerging advert-tech company that rewards users for engaging with advertisements and surveys, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Dr. Olalekan Olumuyiwa Fadolapo.

The visit took place at ARCON’s headquarters in Lagos and was led by Lohli’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Demilade Olaosun, alongside Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Thaddeus Akingbile, and other members of the management team.

Introducing the platform, Olaosun said Lohli was designed to reshape the digital advertising experience by offering users incentives for watching adverts, providing feedback, and participating in product reviews. He explained that the platform’s approach promotes transparency and aims to bridge the gap between brands and consumers while adhering to regulatory expectations.

“We are focused on delivering value to audiences while ensuring that advertising remains engaging, ethical, and aligned with national standards,” Olaosun said.

Responding, Dr. Fadolapo commended the Lohli team for its innovation and acknowledged the platform’s potential impact on the advertising landscape. He stressed the importance of compliance with advertising regulations and urged the team to maintain high standards of ethics and responsibility.

“ARCON is open to collaborating with forward-thinking platforms like Lohli, provided they are committed to promoting responsible advertising and protecting consumer interests,” he stated.

The meeting forms part of Lohli’s broader strategy to engage with stakeholders across the industry as it expands its operations in the Nigerian market and beyond.
