Published 18 hours ago2 minute read

In addition to its Predator gaming laptop lineup, Acer also announced its new Aspire AI laptop series ahead of Computex 2025. The lineup comprises both 14-inch and 16-inch models but more importantly, Acer is giving consumers a choice between Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm chips.

Some features that are standard across the Aspire AI include up to OLED WUXGA displays, with resolutions between 1920 x 1200 and 2048 x 1280, depending on the laptop size. Storage is capped at a maximum of 1TB of PCIe 4.0, and a 65Whr battery across both 14-inch and 16-inch models.

Where it gets interesting, the Aspire AI laptops can be fitted with either an Intel, AMD, or Qualcomm chip. If consumers opt for Intel, the laptops can be fitted with up to a Core Ultra 7 258V. If you’re opting for AMD, that option is split between the Ryzen AI 5 340 and AI 7 350 APUs.

If you’re feeling adventurous, you can opt for the 14 or 16-inch Aspire AI laptops fitted with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X SoC. Regardless of the choice of CPU, all options can be equipped with up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM.

The Acer Aspire AI laptops will be available starting in June, with the 14-inch Qualcomm variant heading to market first, followed by the Intel and AMD models in July. Pricing starts at €899 (~RM4,322) for the Snapdragon units, while the Intel and AMD models will retail from €999 (~RM4,808).

The 16-inch Aspire AI laptops will also be released in a similar timeline. The Snapdragon models will be available starting July from €999 (~RM4,808), while the Intel and AMD models will arrive in August with a starting price of €1,099 (~RM5,284).
