25-Year-Old Man Arrested With Woman's Breast In Anambra
The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old man, identified as Samuel Eze, in connection with the possession of a severed human breast.
The police said the suspect was apprehended on Saturday, July 6, 2025, by a joint security team comprising police officers and vigilantes while on patrol in Awada, Obosi.
A statement by the Command's spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said the suspect was found with the woman's breast, which has been recovered and deposited at the morgue for preservation.
He said that the suspect is currently undergoing police interrogation for necessary investigative actions and prosecution.
The statement partly read, "The Joint Security Team comprising Police attached to the Awada Police Station and Anambra Vigilante Operatives on patrol along Jude Onyekwere Street, Awada, Obosi on 6th July 2025 by 3.30pm arrested a male suspect, Samuel Eze aged 25 years with a woman's breast.
"It was recovered immediately and deposited at the morgue for preservation, while the suspect is undergoing Police interrogations for necessary Police investigative actions and prosecution."
In a separate operation, operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Anambra State Police Command have rescued a kidnapped truck driver and recovered goods worth ₦9.5 million.
Acting on credible intelligence, the officers intervened around 12:45 p.m. on July 4, 2025, successfully rescuing the victim and recovering a truck loaded with custard powder, which had been diverted.
Three male suspects — Udegenyi Ugochukwu (38), Anayochukwu Okonkwo (47), and Good Odigili (47) — were arrested in connection with the crime. According to police, the suspects confessed that the consignment was originally meant for delivery to a warehouse in Asaba, Delta State.
Instead, they allegedly abducted the driver, tied him up in a bush, and diverted the goods to Enugwu Ukwu in Anambra State.
Meanwhile, the police have also announced the recovery of a suspected stolen and abandoned Toyota Sienna vehicle. The custom-coloured car, with registration number 736 JP and marked with the inscription “Forum of Accountants Delta State,” was recovered and is currently under investigation.
Ikenga stated that the vehicle was recovered by operatives from the Obosi Division around 4:30 p.m. on July 5, 2025, during a patrol along the Okpuno–Umuota village road in Obosi.
"Given the above, the Command invites anyone or any group looking for any of the vehicles as highlighted above, to come with valid proof/evidence of ownership for verification and possible collection, please.
