2027 Presidential Shockwave: Jonathan's Name Resurfaces in Fierce Speculation

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has become a central figure in discussions surrounding Nigeria's 2027 presidential election, with a range of prophecies and political maneuvers indicating his potential re-entry into the race. Apostle Oluwarotimi Adeyeye, President and founder of the Clear Revelation Ministry in Ibadan, has prophesied that Jonathan will emerge victorious in the 2027 polls if he decides to run. Adeyeye, known for his past accurate predictions, including the impeachment and reinstatement of former Oyo State governor Rasidi Ladoja, cited Jonathan's integrity, highlighted by his rejection of a USA proposal on same-sex marriage and his peaceful concession of power in 2015 to prevent war and bloodshed. The cleric, who had in 2013 predicted Jonathan might be the last PDP President, now believes God could bring him back, provided Nigeria remains a nation. Conversely, Adeyeye advised President Bola Tinubu to abandon his second-term ambition, stating he does not foresee Tinubu winning, though he acknowledged that with God, nothing is irreversible.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is actively considering Jonathan and the 2023 Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, for the 2027 presidency. Governor Muhammed Bala of Bauchi State, chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, indicated this on Thursday, amid speculations that both Jonathan and Obi are under pressure to return to the PDP.
