WWE 2K26 Officially Announced 2K Games has unveiled WWE 2K26 during Friday Night SmackDown, introducing the latest entry in its long-running professional wrestling video game series.

A special Attitude Era Edition was highlighted, featuring iconic stars like Triple H and The Rock.

This edition celebrates the Attitude Era (1997–2002), a period known for edgier content, adult-oriented storylines, and unpredictable wrestling narratives that remain fan favorites.

Special Editions and Themes

Beyond the Attitude Era Edition, WWE 2K26 will offer at least two additional themed editions.

The Monday Night War Edition nods to the historic rivalry between televised wrestling events during the Attitude Era, while the King of Kings Edition spotlights Triple H’s career and persona.

While these editions have been teased, detailed information about their content, new gameplay mechanics, and platform availability has yet to be released.

Looking Ahead to the Full Reveal

The previous game, WWE 2K25, launched on multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch 2, and received praise for its improved presentation, performance, and the introduction of intergender matches.

Fans won’t have to wait long for more information, as WWE 2K26’s standard cover, cover star, and complete gameplay details are scheduled to be revealed on January 30, 2026.
