Tragedy Strikes: Tommy Lee Jones' Daughter Found Dead

Victoria Jones, the daughter of renowned actor Tommy Lee Jones, was discovered deceased at a San Francisco hotel on Thursday, January 1. According to NBC Bay Area, Jones was 34 years old at the time of her passing. The San Francisco Fire Department confirmed that paramedics were dispatched to the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco at 2:52 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Upon arrival, emergency units conducted an assessment and declared one person deceased. As of now, the specific cause of death remains unknown and has not been publicly disclosed.
In response to the incident, the Fairmont Hotel issued a statement to NBC Bay Area, expressing profound sadness. The statement read: “We are deeply saddened by an incident that occurred at the hotel on January 1, 2026.” It further conveyed, “Our heartfelt condolences are with the family and loved ones during this very difficult time. The hotel team is actively cooperating and supporting police authorities within the framework of the ongoing investigation.”
Victoria Jones had an acting career, appearing alongside her father in two of his films during her childhood. She featured opposite Tommy Lee Jones in “Men in Black II” in 2002 and later in “The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada” in 2005. Notably, “The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada” also marked her father’s directorial debut, in which he starred. As an adult, Victoria continued acting, with appearances in the 2005 film “Sorry, Haters,” an episode of the television series “One Tree Hill,” and the 2014 film “The Homesman.” Throughout her father’s career, Victoria often accompanied him to various movie premieres and red carpet events.
Tommy Lee Jones, a distinguished actor, earned an Oscar in 1994 for his role in “The Fugitive.” His more recent film credits include “The Burial” and “Finestkind,” both released in 2023. Victoria was the second child of Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. Variety has reportedly reached out to Tommy Lee Jones’ representative for further comment regarding the matter.
