‘Win With Tinubu’ Team Seeks Ododo’s Backing for 2027 Mobilisation

Senator Sunday Karimi, representing Kogi West, has unveiled details of the “Win With Tinubu” project, an initiative aimed at mobilising grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Karimi said the project’s management will soon meet with Kogi State Governor and APC leader, Ahmed Usman Ododo, to brief him on its activities and ensure coordination with the party structure.

The initiative targets all 239 wards across Kogi’s three senatorial districts, with plans to communicate the Tinubu administration’s achievements and APC programmes directly to residents.

Karimi said the planned meeting with Ododo is intended to prevent misconceptions and establish that the project is not creating a parallel political structure or working against the APC.

He described the initiative as focused on grassroots mobilisation and voter engagement, while also noting its involvement in community interventions such as a bursary programme. With activities planned across Kogi East, West and Central, the project is seeking to strengthen support for Tinubu and the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.
