Terror in Birmingham: Unprovoked Stabbing Leaves Woman Critical, Shoppers Fear Escalating City Centre Violence!

A woman is fighting for her life after being stabbed in the neck in what police describe as an “unprovoked attack” in Birmingham city centre. West Midlands Police were called to Smallbrook Queensway, near Birmingham New Street station, shortly before 9 pm on Friday, November 7, following reports of a stabbing.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, suffered a “serious neck injury” and remains in hospital in critical condition. Witnesses described seeing a “random” attacker run up and stab the woman as she waited for a bus at a bus stop. A man in his 20s was arrested close to the scene and is currently in police custody.
Detective Inspector James Nix stated, “We believe this was an unprovoked attack and are working to understand why it happened. We will have officers in the area today to continue our investigation and provide reassurance. We are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.” Photos from the scene on Smallbrook Queensway show a large blue forensic tent and a police cordon closing off the road as officers carry out inquiries to establish the exact circumstances.
This incident marks the third reported stabbing in Birmingham city centre in just over a month, deeply unsettling the public. Shoppers have expressed feeling unsafe, with 20-year-old Tom Jarvis remarking on recent similar incidents and 34-year-old Daniel Webb describing the attack as
