Coach Madugu Unveils Super Falcons Squad Ahead of Key Cameroon Friendly

Head Coach Justine Madugu has named a 25-player Super Falcons squad for upcoming friendlies against Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses in Yaounde.

The team features key players including Captain Rasheedat Ajibade, Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, and forwards Esther Okoronkwo and Chinwendu Ihezuo.

Notable returns include Canada-Based Midfielder Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene and U.S.-Based Forward Gift Monday, who missed last year’s Women AFCON in Morocco.

England-based GoalkeeperComfort Erhabor earns her first national team call-up, while Mexico-Based Defender Chidinma Okeke and Tanzania-Based Midfielder Precious Christopher also join the squad for the first time.

Experienced players retaining their spots include defenders Osinachi Ohale, Michelle Alozie, Oluwatosin Demehin, and Ashley Plumptre; midfielders Halimatu Ayinde, Christy Ucheibe, Deborah Abiodun, and Jennifer Echegini; andforwards Rinsola Babajide and Folashade Ijamilusi.
