Rock Titans Unite: System of a Down, Korn, Deftones to Dominate 2026 Sick New World Festivals

The Sick New World festival is set to make a highly anticipated return in 2026, following the cancellation of its 2025 edition. This upcoming iteration will feature two distinct one-day concert events, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Fort Worth, Texas, both prominently headlined by the iconic band System of a Down.
The Las Vegas installment of the festival is scheduled for April 25, 2026, and will take place at the expansive Las Vegas Festival Grounds. In addition to System of a Down, the robust lineup boasts an impressive roster of bands including Korn, Bring Me the Horizon, Ministry, AFI, Evanescence, Acid Bath, Underoath, Coal Chamber, Knocked Loose, Cypress Hill, KMFDM, the Melvins, Filter, Clutch, Danny Elfman, and Marilyn Manson, among other notable acts. Fans eager to attend this event can register for a pre-sale which is slated to commence on Thursday, October 23, at 10 a.m. PT.
The second major event will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, on October 24, 2026, at the Texas Motor Speedway. This concert will also be headlined by System of a Down, supported by an equally compelling lineup featuring Deftones, Slayer—who will be celebrating 40 years of their seminal album *Reign in Blood*—Evanescence, Ministry, AFI, Underoath, The Prodigy, Mastodon, Knocked Loose, Power Trip, Down, Melvins, Orgy, Filter, Kittie, Snot, and P.O.D., alongside many more diverse acts. A pre-sale for the Fort Worth date is scheduled to begin on Friday, October 24, at 10 a.m. CT.
The Sick New World festival originally debuted in 2023 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, with System of a Down headlining alongside hard rock contemporaries like Korn, Deftones, and Incubus, showcasing a diverse blend of metal, industrial, hardcore, and goth rock genres. It successfully returned in 2024, again with System of a Down at the top of the bill, joined by acts such as Alice in Chains, A Perfect Circle, Swans, Primus, Code Orange, and Knock Loose. The planned 2025 edition, which had announced Metallica and Linkin Park as headliners, was unfortunately called off in November 2024 due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
