Rap Queens Clash: BIA Fires Back in Fiery Cardi B Feud!

The long-standing feud between rappers BIA and Cardi B has been reignited, drawing a new layer of drama that even involved a professional athlete, Stefon Diggs. The recent spark came after footage went viral showing Cardi B performing her BIA diss track, “Pretty & Petty,” during the opening night of her Little Miss Drama Tour. On Wednesday, February 11, at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California, Cardi B energetically delivered the track from her album Am I the Drama, which features the pointed lyric: “Name five BIA songs, gun pointed to ‘ya head/ Bow, I’m dead.”
Upon seeing the footage, BIA retaliated on X on Thursday, February 12, by taking a swipe at Stefon Diggs. Her post questioned, “Can u name someone with more bms than receiving yards? I can! and I know that… ykwnvm.” This jab referred to Diggs’ performance in Super Bowl LX, where his New England Patriots were reportedly defeated by the Seattle Seahawks 29-13, with Diggs recording three catches for 37 yards. BIA’s claim about his receiving yards was, therefore, fabricated based on the provided numbers. The mention of Diggs also coincided with unconfirmed reports of a split between him and Cardi B. Fans noticed they had unfollowed each other on Instagram, and Entertainment Tonight later confirmed a recent separation via an unnamed source, though reconciliation remained a possibility. Diggs and Cardi B had welcomed their first child together, and Cardi’s fourth, in November.
The roots of the rivalry between BIA and Cardi B trace back to creative similarities identified by fans between BIA’s 2023 Really Her EP and Cardi B’s 2024 track, “Enough (Miami).” BIA initially escalated the beef with her 2024 diss track “Sue Me.” However, after Cardi B’s subsequent response with “Pretty & Petty,” BIA decided against including another diss track on her upcoming BIANCA debut album. She explained to Billboard in October that she wanted to protect her “beautiful body of work” from being “overshadowed... with noise or negativity.” Meanwhile, Cardi B’s Little Miss Drama Tour is scheduled to continue this weekend with performances in Las Vegas on February 13 and Los Angeles on February 15.
