Rap Legends Unite: Cash Money & No Limit Announce Blockbuster Joint U.S. Arena Tour

Two iconic New Orleans hip-hop labels, No Limit Records and Cash Money Records, are embarking on their inaugural joint U.S. arena tour. The labels, helmed by industry titans Master P and Birdman respectively, unveiled the 17-date tour schedule on Monday, June 15. This highly anticipated outing is set to commence on September 11 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, promising an unforgettable experience for fans.

The super-stacked bill features a formidable lineup of artists from both legendary rosters. Master P and Birdman will be joined by an impressive array of talent including Juvenile, Mannie Fresh, Silkk the Shocker, B.G., Mia X, Mac, Fiend, Mercedes, Choppa, and Mr. Serv-On. Adding to the excitement, special guests the Ying Yang Twins are also slated to perform. Master P personally announced the tour via his Instagram, exclaiming, “It’s about to be EPIC! 🔥 No Limit x Cash Money Tour, one more time for the streets… Salute to all of our fans. All our No limit soldiers rock y’all camo and witness history! ⚜️”

Subtitled “Two Empires. One Stage. One Time,” the tour will make its way to the labels' hometown with a show at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on September 12, following the Houston kick-off. The extensive itinerary includes stops in major cities across the U.S.: Atlanta, Raleigh, N.C., Detroit, Indianapolis, Birmingham, Ala., Dallas, Washington, D.C., Columbia, S.C., St. Louis, Memphis, Sunrise, Fla., Tampa, Chicago, and Cincinnati. The tour will culminate on November 15 at the Rocket Arena in Cleveland.

Both No Limit Records and Cash Money Records played pivotal roles in elevating Southern hip-hop to a dominant force in the music industry. Master P strategically relocated No Limit from Richmond, Calif., to his birthplace in New Orleans in 1995. There, he cultivated a roster of local talent, including Mystikal, Mia X, and Mr. Serv-On, while simultaneously venturing into soundtracks and producing low-budget, direct-to-video films such as *I’m Bout It*, *I Got the Hook-Up*, and *Foolish*.

Cash Money Records was founded in New Orleans in 1991 by brothers Ronald “Slim” Williams and Bryan “Baby” Williams. The label experienced an explosion of popularity in the 1990s, boasting a roster that included B.G., Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and the Hot Boys. Their artists collectively achieved remarkable success, scoring 12 No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 and securing seven No. 1 singles. These chart-topping hits included Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop,” Drake’s “One Dance,” “God’s Plan,” and “Nice For What,” as well as Jay Sean’s “Down,” among others.

Reflecting on the tour's significance, Master P stated, “The fans have been waiting for a tour like this for a long time. We came from New Orleans and built something the world had never seen before — movements that changed music, hip hop culture, and the business forever.” This historic collaboration follows a highly anticipated Verzuz battle between the two labels, which took place last October at ComplexCon in Las Vegas.

Tickets for the tour will be available through a presale, commencing on Wednesday, June 17, at 10 a.m. ET and concluding on Thursday, June 18, at 11:59 p.m. ET. The general on-sale will begin on Friday, June 19, at 10 a.m. ET. Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets promptly for this landmark event.
