Radford Family Jet Off to Disney Again: Mum-of-22 Sue and Noel Kick Off Another Florida Holiday

Sue and Noel Radford, stars of Channel 5’s "22 Kids and Counting" and owners ofRadford's Pie Company, have embarked on yet another family holiday to Florida, specifically Walt Disney Land, before the September term time begins. This latest trip follows closely on the heels of a lavish £50,000 holiday they took in April for Sue’s 50th birthday, highlighting their commitment to providing memorable experiences for Britain's biggest family.
The Morecambe-based Radfords frequently share updates from their adventures, including snaps from their recent Disney excursions where the family was seen wearing famous Disney ears and exploring the parks. Mum-of-22 Sue revealed that Epcot is their collective favourite theme park, posting a photo of her brood in front of its iconic sphere. This consistency in their travel choices underscores their love for Orlando's theme parks.

Despite openly admitting to "feeling the pinch" financially to The Daily Mirror, the Radfords spared no expense on their April holiday, which was estimated to cost around £52,000. This extensive trip not only included their 22 children but also all their grandchildren, making the most of the Easter school break. Sue, 50, and Noel, 54, are parents to Christopher, 36, Sophie, 31, Chloe, 30, Jack, 28, Daniel, 26, Luke, 24, Millie, 23, Katie, 22, James, 21, Ellie, 20, Aimee, 19, Josh, 18, Max, 16, Tillie, 15, Oscar, 13, Casper, 12, Hallie, 10, Phoebe, 9, Archie, 7, Bonnie, 6, and Heidie, 5. Sadly, their 17th child, Alfie, was stillborn in 2014.
The meticulous planning and substantial costs involved in such a large-scale family holiday are evident in the breakdown of expenses. Flights for the April trip alone accounted for a staggering £26,228, a figure that did not even include potential excess charges or additional baggage fees. The exact number of family members on the more recent trip is not specified, but the sheer scale of their prior travel suggests a significant group.
Park tickets represented another major expense, with the family potentially forking out £20,065 for a seven-day Disney visit, based on the cost of a 7-Day Magic Ticket per guest. Fortunately, children under the age of three are granted free entry, offering a small reprieve in their budget. These comprehensive tickets provide access to both theme and water parks, allowing multiple park entries per day, and include the 'memory maker' package for unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads, ensuring all their precious moments are captured.

When it comes to accommodation, Sue and Noel have previously discussed their strategy on "This Morning," opting for villas to manage costs and keep their large family together. Last September, they shared an Orlando Villa Tour with their 944,000 Facebook followers. For a group of 39 travelers (which would include their children and grandchildren), they would need to book three villas, each sleeping 15 people. At £300 per night per villa, a week-long stay would total £6,300 for all three, excluding the cost of food both in the villa and at the parks. This careful consideration of every aspect ensures that despite the enormous logistical and financial challenges, the Radford family continues to enjoy their cherished trips to Florida.
