Quentin Tarantino's Latest Grindhouse Thriller Unveils 'Bonkers' New Trailer!

Collider has exclusively debuted the new red-band trailer and a poster for "One Spoon of Chocolate," an upcoming action thriller from multi-hyphenate Wu-Tang Clan legend RZA. This highly anticipated film, which is RZA's fourth feature and has been over a decade in the making, is set to offer a taste of sweet revenge. While earlier previews suggested a release this spring or on May 1, the most specific date provided indicates the film will hit theaters on May 1, 2026. RZA, who was tutored in filmmaking by Quentin Tarantino, previously had his directorial debut, "The Man with the Iron Fists," produced by Tarantino.
The film stars Shameik Moore as Unique, an ex-military ex-con grappling with anger management issues, seeking a fresh start. His quest leads him to a small town, which he soon discovers harbors a dark secret involving the deaths of young men, including his own cousin. Rather than retreating or surrendering, Unique embarks on a path of violent retribution against the town's corrupt local cops and a gang of degenerates, utilizing every weapon at his disposal, notably a hammer shown in the trailer and poster. The film's grindhouse-style captions fittingly declare, "revenge is a dish best served ice motherf***in' cold."
In addition to Shameik Moore, the cast includes Paris Jackson, RJ Cyler, Blair Underwood, and Harry Goodwins. The score is composed by Tyler Bates, a frequent collaborator with Chad Stahelski, and the film is executive-produced by Talani Diggs and produced by Paul Hall. Quentin Tarantino is also "presenting" the film, underscoring his continued support for RZA's cinematic endeavors.
Accompanying the film's promotion, Collider also features an interactive "Action Hero Quiz" designed to help users discover their ideal action hero partner. The quiz presents ten questions exploring various mission scenarios, travel styles, combat situations, downtime preferences, communication methods, approaches to villains, loyalty in crisis, essential toolkit contributions, personal costs of partnership, and final stand requirements.
The quiz then assigns one of five legendary action heroes as the perfect partner, each with distinct attributes:
- Rambo: A quietly ferocious, highly capable survivalist driven by loyalty and an unyielding capacity for endurance. He assesses threats instantly and never leaves a deserving partner behind.
- James Bond: A professionally dangerous and disarmingly charming partner who operates with layers of strategy and style. He navigates complex situations with precision and an unwavering ability to survive the unsurvivable.
- Indiana Jones: A brilliant, reckless, and resourceful scholar-brawler with deep historical and cultural knowledge. Despite a dislike for snakes and a tendency to get attached to artifacts, his irreplaceable insights lead to epic adventures.
- John McClane: The ultimate accidental hero, defined by stubbornness, improvisation, and an incredible resilience to punishment. He might complain and create chaos, but he unconditionally comes through when it counts.
- Ethan Hunt: An individual operating at the absolute pinnacle of human capability, known for relentless precision in planning and execution. He carries the immense weight of impossible missions, requiring complete trust from his partners.
