EA Sports has officially concluded the season's special player recognitions for Madden NFL 26, releasing the final Team of the Week (TOTW 18) alongside the highly anticipated Offensive and Defensive Players of the Month for December.

This announcement celebrates the outstanding performances of key NFL athletes who made a significant impact on their teams' success during the final stretch of the regular season.

Announcement of The Awards Been Awarded To Players

Taking Lead as the Offensive Player of the Month is San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy. He’s exceptional leadership and performance in December propelled his team to three crucial victories.

He showcased his prowess, throughout the month by making an impressive total of 13 touchdowns. Purdy has been awarded with a coveted 96 OVR (Overall Rating) card, which players can acquire in Madden NFL 26 by completing specific in-game sets.

Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons earned the Defensive Player of the Month title. Despite December being a somewhat mixed month for the Titans, who finished with a 2-2 record, Simmons' individual contributions were undeniable.

He was instrumental in the two victories his team secured, demonstrating remarkable defensive play with two forced fumbles, three passes defended, 3.5 sacks, and 24 tackles. Like Purdy, Simmons also receives a prestigious 96 OVR card, making him a valuable addition for players' Ultimate Team rosters.

The Line-up For The Final Team of The Week

The final Team of the Week, TOTW 18, also features two exclusive Limited Edition (LIMTED) items recognizing top-tier individual performances.

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett secured one of these special 95 OVR cards for his record-breaking sack during the Browns' narrow 20-18 triumph over the Cincinnati Bengals with Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee, who also received a 95 OVR LIMTED card after recording five receptions and a touchdown in a key game against the Arizona Cardinals.
