President Tinubu Unveils New Central Bank Leadership with Yuguda's Appointment

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially approved the nomination of Lamido Abubakar Yuguda as Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, subject to Senate confirmation.

The announcement was made by Presidential Special Adviser Bayo Onanuga, adhering to Section 8(1) of the Central Bank of Nigeria Act, 2007.

Yuguda's appointment follows the redeployment of former Deputy Governor Mr. Bala Bello, who now serves as Special Adviser to the President on Political Economy. President Tinubu has charged both officials with renewed dedication and professionalism in fostering Nigeria's economic stability and growth.
