Pop Star RAYE Set to Electrify NFL Halftime Stage in London 2025

RAYE, the acclaimed British artist, is set to make a significant appearance on the international stage by headlining the halftime show for the upcoming NFL game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Cleveland Browns. This highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place on October 5 in London, marking a highlight of the NFL's 2025-26 season in the United Kingdom.
The game is notable as it represents the first of three NFL matchups to be hosted in London during the season, with additional games slated for October 12 and 19. These expeditions are a crucial component of the league’s ongoing strategic efforts to broaden the global appeal and presence of American football beyond its traditional borders.
Tim Tubito, the NFL’s senior director of global game presentation and entertainment, emphasized the importance of these international events in a statement, noting, “London continues to be a second home for the NFL, and each year we look to elevate the entertainment we bring to fans.” He added, “RAYE is one of the U.K.’s most exciting artists, and we know she’ll deliver an incredible performance for our fans which continues to showcase the NFL’s approach to providing the best in sports and entertainment.”
RAYE herself expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity, stating, “I’m very grateful to NFL for inviting me and the band to perform during this halftime show. Hopefully we can provide a memorable and entertaining moment for the crowd and viewers at home.”
In addition to RAYE’s performance, the October 5 game will feature English singer-songwriter Pixie Lott, who is scheduled to perform the English national anthem, “God Save the King,” adding another layer of local flavor to the international sporting spectacle.
This NFL halftime announcement coincides with a dynamic period in RAYE’s musical career. Following the considerable success of her 2023 hit single “Escapism” and her critically acclaimed album 21st Century Blues, the artist recently released a new song titled “Where Is My Husband?” on Friday, September 19. Furthermore, RAYE has confirmed that she is actively working on a new album and has unveiled plans for a series of global shows under the intriguing title “This Tour May Contain New Music,” signaling an exciting new era for her fans worldwide.
