The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has officially gazetted November 27 as the date for critical by-elections across 23 constituencies that have lacked parliamentary representation for over a year. Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, who was once perceived to have solidified his influence over this strategic region, is now confronting considerable competition.
