PinkPantheress's Wild Concert Gift: Fan Gives Rotisserie Chicken, She Re-Gifts to DJ!

PinkPantheress experienced a memorable and somewhat peculiar moment during her recent performance in Chicago, where an enthusiastic fan presented her with an unexpected gift: a rotisserie chicken. The incident occurred over the weekend at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom, capturing the singer's surprise and delight as she noticed the unique offering during her set.
Upon realizing the fan intended the roast chicken as a gift, PinkPantheress engaged with the audience, humorously questioning the unusual item but ultimately expressing interest. She then shared the unexpected present with her DJ, Joe, noting his need for protein since he hadn't eaten that day. DJ Joe proceeded to enjoy the rotisserie chicken while continuing his set, playing a remix of PinkPantheress's hit song “Illegal,” creating a truly unique and entertaining spectacle for those in attendance.
This unusual event in Chicago is not the first time a PinkPantheress concert has been the scene of an unexpected surprise. A few months prior, in October, her performance at Brooklyn's Kings Theater in New York also featured an unscripted moment involving a public figure. During that show, city mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani made a notable cameo, appearing on the venue's jumbotron.
Mamdani's appearance included a message, “Our Time Has Come Vote Nov 4,” displayed across both of his hands, which he showcased for the camera. This garnered a significant and roaring ovation from the Kings Theater audience. At the time, the New York mayoral election was imminent, scheduled for Tuesday, November 4th, with Mamdani contending against former governor Andrew Cuomo and Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa to replace the incumbent mayor Eric Adams, who had withdrawn from the race in late September.
