Robert Pattinson is having a remarkably busy and successful 2026, with a slate of projects slated for release throughout the year. However, during a recent interview with LADbible to promote his new movie “Primetime,” Pattinson definitively ruled out this possibility, stating, “I think it would be kind of tough to have this version of Bruce outside of that world… it's such a specific kind of [style], the tone of it gets inside you.” This statement strongly suggests that his portrayal of Bruce Wayne will remain separate from the broader DCU continuity.

“The Batman: Part 2” will see several key actors from the first film reprising their roles alongside Robert Pattinson. Jeffrey Wright is confirmed to return as Commissioner Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb, also known as The Penguin. The production team includes Dylan Clark, James Gunn, and Peter Safran as producers, with Matt Reeves returning to direct and co-write the screenplay with Mattson Tomlin, ensuring continuity in the acclaimed Batman franchise.

Additionally, the sequel is set to introduce new talent to its cast.
