The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, have formally announced the cessation of all campaign activities. This decision was made ahead of the upcoming governorship election scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026.

According to a statement signed by Mogaji Kola Olabisi, the Osun State APC Director of Media and Information, the party and its candidate concluded all campaign-related activities at precisely 11 pm on Thursday, August 13. The public and all relevant authorities have been duly notified of this development.

Furthermore, the APC and Oyebamiji have explicitly disassociated themselves from any campaign activity or publication that may be carried out in their names after the aforementioned deadline. They clarified that any individual or entity engaging in such activities without explicit authorization, permission, or consent from the party or its candidate would be acting entirely independently.

The statement emphasized that any unauthorized activities or publications are hereby disclaimed and do not represent the official instructions or directives of the Osun State APC or Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji.
