Oasis Reunites for Global ‘Live ’25 Tour’ as Noel and Liam Gallagher End 15-Year Feud

The iconic Britpop bandOasishas embarked on a triumphant reunion tour, marking the end of a 15-year feud between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher. The sell-out Live ’25 Tour has seen the band perform across various locations including Cardiff, Dublin, Edinburgh, Manchester, London, and recently commenced its North American leg in Toronto, with dates in Chicago, East Rutherford, and Pasadena, before heading to South America, Australia, South Korea, and Japan, concluding in São Paulo in November.
Noel Gallagher, 58, has openly expressed his enthusiasm and surprise regarding the tour's success and his brother's performance. He notably praised Liam, stating, “Liam’s smashing it,” and added, “It’s great being back in a band with Liam. I forgot how funny he was.” Despite having done stadiums before with his High Flying Birds, Noel admitted to experiencing “jelly legs” during the first night in Cardiff and felt emotional during a performance of “Talk Tonight” in Edinburgh.

He specifically lauded Liam's vocals, jokingly it was “AI” but genuinely expressing pride, acknowledging the difficulty of fronting a stadium band, something he feels isn't in his nature. He remarked, “I look around and think, you know, ‘Good for you, mate.’ He’s been amazing.” Guitarist Paul Arthurs (Bonehead) also rejoined them.
Fan speculation has been rife regarding the tour's consistent setlist. Since its kickoff on July 4, the band has performed the same 23-song set at each show. This setlist heavily features material from their first two legendary records, 1994’sDefinitely Maybe and 1995’s (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, with notable absences of post-2000 hits like “Lyla” and “Stop Crying Your Heart Out.” British comedy writer Matt Morgan, a close friend of Noel Gallagher, revealed Noel's reasoning: “He said, ‘No, I like it like that.’ He knows where he is. They bang it out.” Morgan also observed Noel's happiness on stage, noting, “He looks so happy. He is... He seems very happy with it. And he looks happy on stage, actually. He’s not plodding through it.”
Rumors of the band returning to Knebworth, 30 years after their historic concerts there, have circulated, but Noel remained elusive when questioned, playfully deflecting to talk about football. He did express sadness that many fans missed out on tickets due to the quick sell-out, leading to suggestions from host Andy Goldstein about Knebworth being a solution, to which Noel responded with a curious, “Right, when are we doing that?”

Beyond the stage, Noel Gallagher has also been spotted on a break from the tour with his rarely-seen girlfriend, Sally Mash. The couple was seen enjoying a double date with Hollywood A-lister Matt Smith, known for “Doctor Who” and “The Crown,” at a pub in London before a late-night stroll. Noel has been quite private about his relationship with Sally, who is known for running a private members' club in Chelsea and previously sold luxury holidays and handled VIPs for Queens Park Rangers. They were first seen together in October 2023, following Noel's divorce from his ex-wife Sara MacDonald, which was finalized in November 2023. Noel has two children with Sara, whom he married in 2011, and a daughter with his first ex-wife, Meg Mathews.
