Oasis Reunion Frenzy: Legal Battles, Tour Lineup, and Fan Scuffles Erupt

The highly anticipated Oasis reunion tour, set for 2025, has officially confirmed the return of bassist Andy Bell, who expressed his excitement in a new interview with Austrian newspaper Oe24. Bell, who previously played with Oasis from 1999 to 2009 and later with Liam Gallagher's post-Oasis project Beady Eye, is seen as ideally suited to manage the dynamic between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. He stated, “I’m in and I’m really looking forward to it. We’ll see each other on tour. Or rather, you’ll see me. I’ll hardly be able to see you in the audience.” Bell is expected to be joined by his Beady Eye bandmate Gem Archer, Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs on guitar, and drummer Joey Waronker, completing the live lineup.

The reunion tour includes 41 dates booked for 2025, kicking off with stadium shows across the UK and Ireland in July, before moving to multiple continents. Support acts for various dates include Cast, Richard Ashcroft, Cage The Elephant, and Ball Park Music. The band is scheduled to play three sold-out shows at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on August 8, 9, and 12. The demand for tickets was phenomenal, with 10 million people from over 100 countries attempting to purchase them, leading to a record-time sell-out.

Despite the excitement, the band's manager, Alec McKinlay, has firmly ruled out new material and additional tour dates. McKinlay, also a director at Ignition and Big Brother Recordings, explained that the comeback tour's planning was kept under wraps by a very limited and trusted group of people.
