NNPP's Battle Cry: Bauchi Victory Looms!

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has officially declared its strong intent and readiness to emerge victorious in upcoming elections within Bauchi State. This significant announcement was made by the newly elected state chairman of the NNPP, Ahmed Tijjani Aminu, following the formal inauguration of the party’s structures across the state, including all local government areas and the 212 wards. The inauguration event, which took place on a Monday in Bauchi, the state capital, served as a platform for the party to outline its strategic vision and commitment to the people.
During his address at the event, Chairman Aminu emphasized that the NNPP possesses a robust grassroots network, which he believes strategically positions the party to function as a formidable and credible opposition. In this capacity, the NNPP intends to rigorously hold the Bauchi State government accountable for its actions and policies. Furthermore, Aminu affirmed the party's dedication to offering the populace viable, people-centered policies as an alternative to the current governance. He extended an invitation to the general public and aspiring politicians, encouraging them to leverage what he described as a rancor-free and welcoming platform to pursue their political aspirations, underscoring the belief that leadership is a divine gift not exclusively reserved for any ruling party.
Aminu further elaborated on the expectations for all party executives, stating that they are mandated to operate with humility, diligence, and unwavering honesty. This collective effort, he stressed, is essential for the successful actualization of the party’s overarching mission: to secure victories in future elections across the state. He articulated the core principles guiding the party’s operations, declaring, “All our executives shall operate in strict compliance with the rule of law, party supremacy, and respect for democratic values.” Aminu also highlighted the importance of maturity in political discourse, noting that while engaging the public in constructive dialogue, the party will consistently uphold the highest standards of decorum expected within a democratic environment.
In a call to action for citizens, the chairman urged participation in the ongoing voter registration exercise spearheaded by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Concurrently, he revealed that the NNPP has commenced its own comprehensive membership registration drive, which is being systematically rolled out across all 212 wards within the state's 20 local government areas. Aminu concluded his remarks by reaffirming the party's clear objective: “Our goal is clear, we are ready to work assiduously with any serious-minded politician. The ultimate objective is to win elections and provide Bauchi people with genuine, people-oriented leadership.” This statement encapsulates the NNPP’s determination to deliver substantive and responsible governance to the people of Bauchi State.
