The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, established in 1969 and headquartered in New York, operates as a non-profit organization comprising media professionals from over 60 countries. Its core mission is to acknowledge and celebrate excellence in television content produced outside the United States. The Academy is also responsible for organizing the annual International Emmy Awards, which honor outstanding achievements across a diverse range of genres, including drama, comedy, news, and children’s programming.
